5. Do you clean your home with bleach, to remove mold stains?

Bleach does not kill mold.  It just temporarily removes its surface color.  That is why showers, pools & spas have to continuously be treated.  According to the EPA, all indoor mold growth should be removed promptly, no matter what type(s) of mold are present or whether or not it can become toxic mold.   Aspergillus mold comes from numerous food sources, commonly: skin cells, paper, wet building material, dust, furniture and more.  The moisture can come from our bodies (sweat, wet hair on pillows, breath), steam or moist air from outdoors.   Paint and primer will not kill mold or bacteria stains, the discoloration returns.  If you see mold in one area of your home (or building), be assured it is everywhere in the structure.
